ZineReader
Status: In developmentThe ZineReader is the newest eReader iPad application developed by IS.Star SPRL. It allows users to read a magazine or a presentation on their device in a smooth and interactive way. It also allows publishers of that magazine or presentation to get various statistics about how readers interact with the content.

With ZineReader, iPad users can not only view and read the content as they would with a paper version but the navigation is also non-linear. Users can indeed jump from one page to another in a very smooth way thanks to embedded page links or page thumbnails that provide a very useful quick preview of each page.
Additionally to a very interactive navigation, multimedia can also be embedded. You can add sound or video to any page, making your content richer and more appealing. Users can also interact with the content by, for instance, leaving a comment or answering a poll.
Another aspect that makes the ZineReader so unique is the added value for the content provider. They can not only provide rich digital content to a great number of readers but they also get extremely valuable information back from the application. Indeed, the application can anonymously track how users go through the content, statistics that can then be used to adapt your future content to better meet your target audience.
